Quick answerThe database groups pets by egg source and flags every numeric claim with an evidence state. Exact income, hatch times and rarity multipliers are not published by the game, so rows show the verified mechanics and mark numbers Unverified until live-verified — no invented stats.
Pets come from eggs
Pets hatch from eggs you steal, earn or buy in events. The egg source determines the pet family and usually the rarity ceiling. The three confirmed special sources right now are the Sakura Incubator, the Monster Chest and the Rift Machine.

Why there is no 100-pet table
PRD rule: no entity-page sprawl and no fake numbers. Individual pet pages and a giant generated table would be wiki completeness, not a decision aid. When Google Search Console shows independent demand for a specific pet, that pet earns its own row or page — until then the source-family view is the useful one.
How to actually compare pets in game
- Check the item card (displayed MPS and weight) — the only numbers you can trust are the ones you see in game.
- Compare against your current best pet for the biome you are in.
- Run the Pet Decision Checker with those facts.
- Re-check after each update: multipliers and event pets change weekly.
Rule from PRD §13: community-reported drops and multipliers are research input, not verified game data. If a number is not on your screen or cross-verified, it stays marked.

The exact count is not verified, changes every update, and listing an invented number would break the evidence rule. The source-family table above is the confirmed structure.
Choose by biome need, not by hype: check which family matches the speed stage you are at (see Biomes). Any claimed "best" needs a date and evidence.
Event-limited status is tracked per family on the Rift / Sakura / Monster pages; the general rule is not yet verified uniformly.
