Speed Requirements

Speed Requirements — Steal An Egg
Quick answerEvery biome in Steal An Egg is gated by a minimum speed. Exact values change with updates and are not listed as fact here — instead you get the confirmed mechanic, the check method, and trails/treadmills as the speed tools that actually move the number.

The confirmed mechanic

  • Biomes are ordered by speed: minimum speed to enter, safe speed to be comfortable.
  • Speed comes from pets/eggs and from speed tools — trails and treadmills (comparisons are separate P1 content).
  • The gate is the decision point: your current speed vs the next biome's minimum.

How to check a gate (the reliable way)

  1. Time your own crossing of the current biome (start → end boundary, stopwatch).
  2. Note the game version and date — gates change weekly.
  3. Cross-check with a live-verified source or clip from the same version.
  4. Only then compare against the next biome's requirement.

Why static tables are the trap

PRD §13: no fake stats. A screenshot-stale table of "requirements between biomes" becomes wrong within a patch cycle. The companion's answer is the method plus a dated status, not an undated number sheet.

The reliable speed number is the one you timed this week, not the one a wiki posted last month.

The comparison content covers this (P1); stacking is not yet uniformly verified.
Trails and treadmills are the confirmed speed-tool lines; exact acquisition is under the Progression P1 content plan.
